About Me
My name is Jordan Diller. I don't currently go to any studio to train outside of Fusion. I began dancing in my freshman year in the Centennial Dance 1 class. My favorite styles ended up being hip hop and pom. I am apart of Dance Fusion because it gives me a way to express my emotions in a healthy way. I also love being apart of something bigger than myself and bonding with all the girls.
One of my goals for this year is to get solid double pirouettes on both sides. This is important to me because turns haven't been my strong suit and I want to fix that. Another goal I have is to work on being more approachable to others. I want to come off kinder and easier to talk to rather than my normal more aloof self. Lastly, I want to work on being able to improv without overthinking because I tend to not want to do something unless I know it's perfect. I want to be able to just let loose and dance without judgement from myself or others.
In the future I plan on going to college. Currently I plan to study Pharmacy in order to get my doctorate and become a pharmacist. Some of the colleges I am going to apply to are Butler, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Stanford.

Resume
My name solo told the story of how I came to understand what my name actually meant. It all started with a simple assignment that made me realize I didn't really know what my name meant. The most difficult part of creating my video was attempting to film from so many different angles with nothing more than my phone and a phone clip. My peers gave me a lot of valuable feedback including making the actual choreography longer. I learned that not everything needed necessarily as much background info as I provided. I am going to move forward by creating a good balance between background videos and my actual choreography.
